Course Improve your efficiency with Outlook
Do you often find it difficult to manage your inbox?
Do your tasks take longer than planned?
Are your tasks registered in several different systems on your computer – or simply on Post-it notes?
Then, Outlook could be the solution. If the answer to my last question is “yes”, you will find that you can save a lot of time. Registering tasks in lots of different ways causes inefficiency; simply changing this habit will quickly cover the cost of the course.
Our Improve your Efficiency with Outlook course introduces you to Outlook’s most important efficiency improvement tools, not least the task manager.
You can collect all your tasks here, making them easy to manage. You can also attach your emails to the right tasks after you have read them. Like past participants in my courses, you are bound to be impressed by the amount of time you can save with this alone.
You will also have the opportunity to work with your calendar in a completely new way, giving you a full overview of your tasks and meetings in a single location.
These new tools make it easier for you to:
- Gain a good overview of all your tasks.
- Follow up on sub-tasks at the right time.
- Improve your planning and prioritisation skills.
- Be in full control of your inbox.
- Assess how much time you need to set aside for each task.
I will take you through all the functions during the course, and you will learn how to set up Outlook to work for you – not the other way around. More than 90% of participants on my courses find that they gain time and improve their concentration every day, simply by setting up Outlook to stop sending notifications every time they receive an email. And if you usually have sound switched on for your Outlook notifications, you will save even more time.
You will learn about all of Outlook’s many options for helping you improve your overview, planning and prioritising. You will work even more efficiently with your own tasks and emails.
The course requires a high degree of self-discipline, since there is no personal training after the course.
Who is the instructor on the Outlook course?
I am: Michael Thygesen, owner of Work Efficiently.
My CV includes positions such as manager or director at Lån & Spar Bank, Debitel, Telenor A/S, Eniro and Hartmanns A/S. Therefore, I know what it means to have to juggle numerous tasks at once, and optimisation and efficiency improvement have always been part of my job.
In 2013, I decided to specialise in using Outlook, and I have used the program for all of my tasks ever since. If I had been aware of Outlook’s potential in my former jobs, I could have made more money for my previous employers.
